Hope Showers
Hope Showers graduated from Clarks Summit University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Theatre. During her time at Clarks Summit, she was involved in every production they had as either a performer, stage manager, or light designer. As a performer, her favorite roles were as Madame Barbiere in Remember My Name and Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest. She was also a spokesperson for the arts on campus, heading up two “Arts Appreciation Assemblies” for the entire student body to enjoy a showcase of various artistic talents and learn about the influence the arts have. During her breaks from college, she worked with Open Stage in Harrisburg, PA as a social media intern, as a teacher’s assistant for their children and teens’ theatre workshops, and as the light designer for their summer showcases. Most recently she directed a one act play she wrote herself called Catharsis. She is excited to plant some roots in NEPA and continue to garner excitement within the community for all the incredible work that happens at the Ritz and CaPAA. She serves as our Social Media Intern, production assistant and much more here at The Ritz!
